We offer lenders and brokers an out-of-the-box, white-labeled SaaS product that supports self-service mortgage applications, collaboration tools, digital signatures, integrations with relevant data sources, and more. We have offices in Zürich and Antwerp (Belgium). To support our current growth in Europe, we are looking for a Finance & Operations manager.

Your Mission

As a Finance & Operations manager, you will work closely with the founding team on managing the financial growth of the company on a day to day basis. You will report directly to the CEO and own the full financial function within a fast growing FinTech.

What you will do

  • Support investor relations, fundraising, and banking relations
  • Implement and manage a company wide metric system (KPI and OKR based) which ensures accountability across the different functions of the company
  • Build financial analyses and manage the financial model
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoice creation, procurement requests, vendor/contractor payments, and related workflows
  • Own budget creation, expense management, and financial reporting
  • Oversee monthly close process in coordination with outsourced accountants
  • Interface with vendors in finding cost efficient and high ROI solutions
  • Own payroll-related processes
  • Ensure compliance within the different countries in DACH and Benelux where Oper is present.
  • Manage the contract process as the primary point of contact internally for all things related to partner contracts, including drafting and reviewing supplier contracts, and working closely with external counsel as needed
  • Drive improvements to the contracting process and any associate change management
  • Ad hoc financial and strategic projects as needed to support the CEO and other leadership team members
  • You will have lots of opportunities to grow quickly within our rapidly scaling company, demonstrating your past experience and building out valuable new skill-sets

What you will bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance and Operations
  • Startup experience or 1+ years in a high-performance environment (e.g., Big 4 firm) is highly preferred. Highly desired to have the flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing startup environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Slack preferred
  • Strong teamwork, verbal and written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple competing priorities, detail-oriented and organized
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/mindset, flexibility toward dynamic change
  • Data-driven and curious problem-solver
  • Highly self-motivated, flexible, and interested in a dynamic work environment
