To support our current growth in Europe, for our Zürich office, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative.

Your Mission

As a Sales Development Representative at Oper, you will use your relationship-building skills to help the team bring innovative digital credit solutions to clients through high-quality and tailored service. Working within the sales team, you will manage the sales process from lead generation to qualification, evaluation and demo-calls. In doing so, you will collaborate with internal teams to develop use-case driven solutions for a range of clients, acting as the key feedback mechanism between the market and internal product teams.

What you will do

  • Drive sales opportunities by using market and client research to develop qualified prospects
  • Own the outbound lead generation program in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and the CEO to progress client conversations through the sales funnel to close
  • Present, promote and sell the Oper SaaS solution using well-formed arguments and clear product demonstrations to prospects
  • Analyze prospective clients’ needs to assess product fit, proactively helping clients to evaluate the benefits of the Oper solution throughout their assessment process
  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Product teams to evaluate market opportunities and set both immediate plans to win clients and the long-term roadmap to grow new business

What you will bring

  • 1+ year B2B sales experience (Bonus points if it’s in Financial Services)
  • Fluent in German and English (any additional language is a plus). As well written as spoken.
  • A keen interest in fast growing startups and FinTech in particular
  • Familiar with sales reporting and CRM-tools (Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, … )
  • Comfortable with detailed conversations both at a business and a technical level
  • Track record that you can achieve results. You know what it takes to succeed and want to leverage your skills and resources to create the desired outcomes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to quickly build relationships and elicit discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative attitude, willing to partner across functions to find solutions
